Geoffrey C. Speicher

I am Geoffrey Speicher from Archbald, Pennsylvania in the United States of America. Welcome to my web site.

A little about me: I am a Software Engineer (like Ken Jennings but without the trivia), a trombonist (like Wycliffe Gordon but without the talent), and a heck of a nice guy (I'll leave it to the reader to find my deficiency there).

I earned my Master of Science degree from the University of Scranton in 1999 and co-founded Software Engineering Associates that same year. Since then I have been busy writing a lot of database software for businesses, and in the process I have written some tools to make my job more efficient. With help from many talented people, I bundled these tools together and released them in a commercial product called Pario in May 2011.

If you want to say hello, you can find me on Facebook, but sometimes I forget to check. Alternatively, you can send an email to geoff at speicher dot org, or if you have Adobe Flash Player installed then you can just click to the right to ring me up right now. Make sure you enter your name and phone number in the box when prompted; Google will call you and tell you press "1" to call me. Pretty cool, right?

I used to have a blog. It contained two or three articles, which are now old enough that nobody will miss them. I hope to write more now that I have moved this site to a dynamic platform that doesn't require me to write content on my laptop and then upload the entire site and resolve conflicts every time I want to publish something. Kind of ironic that the software engineer hasn't made using modern blog technology a priority before now, but there you have it.
